Hyangeim joined in November 2021 as Product Design Lead.
Prior to joining the InterOpera Group, Hyangeim was in Facebook (Singapore), taking on product design role that cover strategic planning and as well as executional work such as UX strategy, user architecture, wireframing, UI design, User research.
Lianne joined InterOpera Group as a senior software engineer in May 2021 and is now additionally a Product Manager.
Prior to joining InterOpera Group, Lianne was formerly a senior software engineer at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. Having spent time in various technology roles, she specializes in software engineering, information security and technology controls.Lianne holds a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technology University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Her preferred holiday destination is any beach that offers scuba diving.
Calvin joined in July 2022 as Head of Business Development. Prior to joining the InterOpera Group, Calvin was the ETFBusiness Development Director at Nikko Asset Management for 4 years where he was responsible for driving the growth the firm’s ETF business in South EastAsia. Before that he spent 12 years in investment research roles atAJ Capital Asset Management, Capital Group and Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore.
Vickie joined as Head of Strategy and Corporate Development. In the past, Vickie was in MUFG Bank for more than 12 years, taking on different regional roles in both corporate and investment banking in Singapore for APAC and in London for EMEA. Her last role was focused on acquisition financing, capital structuring with coverage of the consumer sector in Asia and Oceania (ex Japan).
Pete joined InterOpera Group in August 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer and became an Engineering Manager in July 2022
Prior to joining the InterOpera Group, Pete was a senior software engineer at high frequency trading firm. Leading algorithm trading system development in Crypto currency, KRX, HK and China market.Specialist in design and build system platform utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to enable fully automated fintech business.
Dr Sung began his investment career at GIC in 1993 and retired in 2011 as Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer. Since then, he has taken up advisory and board positions with different government bodies and financial institutions, including the finance ministries in Norway and Singapore, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Bank of Thailand, MIT Investment Management Company, Markit Ltd (now part of IHS Markit), Singapore’s Ministry of Health and NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative.
In 2015, Dr Sung co-founded Avanda Investment Management, a Singapore-based asset manager. Since retiring from Avanda in mid-2021, Dr Sung has been appointed to the boards and advisory panels of start-ups in diverse fields including sustainable investing, renewable energy, asset digitalization and long/short equity investing.
Christine has been General Counsel, Head of Law and in-house adviser to C-suite and stakeholders on legal, regulatory compliance and risk management matters since 2006, with publicly-listed and PE entities invested/operated in by Macquarie, HSBC and Temasek.Trained and qualified as a commercial litigator in the UK and Singapore, she began her legal practice in Singapore at Allen & Gledhill and Khattar Wong. Prior to joining the InterOpera group, she was Consulting Partner, Head of Law at a Temasek-subsidiary and digital transformation startup.
June joined in January 2022 as Head of Operations. Prior to joining the InterOpera Group, June was in Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) for over 8 years, taking on various roles specializing in business management and finance. Before Standard Chartered Bank, June was with Barclays Capital (London) for 6 years.
Vi Hung joined the InterOpera group in July 2021 as CFO and is concurrently COO. He was a Financial Controller (Executive Director) at UBS in Singapore, responsible for APAC Wealth Management, Asset Management and Net New Money, reporting with centralized support out of Singapore and Hong Kong. He spent 18 years in senior financial roles at UBS in Switzerland and Singapore.
Will is a serial entrepreneur who started his entrepreneurial journey in Silicon Valley in 2011. Will studied Computer Science and Applied Mathematics & Statistics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he received his BS degree.
He obtained his MS degree in Computer Science specialised in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University.With his knowledge from studying Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University, Will is on a mission of building a human-centered platform through the newest technologies.
Michael Chin is a seasoned investment bank and asset management professional with more than 3 decades of experience. Prior to the InterOpera Group, Michael spent 22 years working in UBS AG, where his last appointment was CEO of UBS Asset Management Singapore.
Michael currently serves as an Independent Director of Vingroup JSC, the leading Vietnamese corporate group. He is also on the Board of Directors of Pepper Savings Bank, the third largest savings bank in Korea.
